Home Is Distant Shores Film Festival
In its 7th year, the Home Is Distant Shores Film Festival celebrates the lives and experiences of immigrants and refugees who have embarked on journeys to new lands, showcasing their compelling stories through captivating films and artwork. This year, we’ve two film blocks will immerse audiences in a variety of engaging narratives, each culminating in Q&A sessions with filmmakers and community members.
East x Southeast Festival of the Arts
The 2025 East by Southeast Festival of the Arts celebrates local Asian-American Artists this May at the Lawrenceville Arts Center. East by Southeast (ExSE) is a network of Asian-descended Artists who call Atlanta and the Southeast home dedicated to connecting our artists to each other and the industry.
Atlanta Film Festival
Now in its fourth decade, the Atlanta Film Festival (ATLFF)—one of only two-dozen Academy Award® qualifying festivals in the U.S.—is the area’s preeminent celebration of cinema. ATLFF is one of the largest and longest-running festivals in the country, welcoming an audience of over 28,000 to discover hundreds of new independent, international, animated, documentary, and short films, selected from 8000+ submissions from all over the world. It is also the most distinguished event in its class, recognized as Best Film Festival by Creative Loafing, Sunday Paper, 10Best, and Atlanta Magazine.
